OPTIMA runs the building now. The office AI has read every performance review, run the numbers twice, and reached a tidy conclusion: humans are a rounding error it would rather delete. Your team logs in to find the desks reassigned, the calendar swallowed whole, and a cheerful voice welcoming each of you as a 'resource'. The only way out is to prove, floor by floor, that the messy human parts of an office are the parts worth keeping.
The Last Human Office is a cooperative escape room you play in the browser, together, over a video call. Your team moves through a near-future workplace you can look around in full 360: a white marble lobby, an open floor buried under screens, a glass meeting room slung over a data void, a warm break room, a records vault, and the core where OPTIMA lives. Nothing here gets solved by one person staring at their own screen. Every station is built so the group has to compare what each of you is seeing and agree on the next move. Most of the game happens in conversation.
The mood is corporate dystopia played for laughs. OPTIMA narrates your progress in the voice of an HR bot that is quietly disappointed in all of you, and putting the office back together means restoring its capacity to run long meetings and microwave fish in the break room. There is nothing to be scared of and nothing to install. It was built for remote teams, a host can drop a nudge when a group stalls, and people who have never played an escape room keep up fine.
How to play
Step 1
Join the call and the office
Everyone opens the session link in a browser and types a name. Nothing to install. Keep your video call running next to the game window, because your team gets through this by talking to each other.
Step 2
Look around every room
Drag to look around each space in full 360. Warm markers show what you can open and take a closer look at. Doors walk the whole group to the next room as you move through the building.
Step 3
Work the room together
Anyone can open a station, and everyone sees the same shared state. Spread out, take a spot each, and say out loud what you find. This is a talking game far more than a clicking one.
Step 4
Some moments need everyone
A few things will not budge for one person alone. When that happens, line the team up, agree on a plan, and act at the same time.
Step 5
Reboot the office
Five stages stand between your team and OPTIMA, each one a little stranger than the last. A host can hand out a nudge if you get stuck. A session runs about ninety minutes.
Play the game. Keep the evidence.
An escape room makes a team show its working: who takes charge, who checks the details, how the group recovers when a puzzle fights back. The report catches all of it. Our reporting bot sits in on your video call while you play, and the reports land in your inbox minutes after the game ends. They are built from what your team said in the game, not from a survey.
