Rush Hour Market
1–4 players · 3 min per shift
Every game, unlimited · or play once for $30
Rush Hour Market is a tiny neighborhood grocery shop on its busiest day. Customers line up with paper tickets: apples and milk, sliced cheese on fresh bread, fish wrapped for dinner. Your crew has three minutes to fill as many bags as it can before the doors close.
Nobody gets a fixed job. Anyone can grab a crate at the delivery dock, slice at the deli, watch the oven or run a sealed bag to checkout, so the shift only works when people say what they are doing. One grocer calls out that the milk shelf is empty, another is already on it, and a loaf flies across the shop to whoever has free hands. Rush hours and a jammed scanner keep changing the plan.
Six shops, each with its own floor plan, take a team from a quiet first shift to a packed grand opening. Shifts are short, so a group can play several in a lunch break and watch the score climb. It runs in the browser for one to four players, on a laptop or a phone, and suits teams who don't usually play games.
How to play
Step 1
Clock in
Open the session link and type a name. Everyone with the link lands in the same shop, up to four grocers. The first one in is the host and picks the shop and the pace. New to the game? Try Learn the ropes first.
Step 2
Read the tickets
Each customer ticket shows what they want, with pictures and names. Move with WASD or the arrow keys and press E to take groceries from the shelves.
Step 3
Prepare and pack
Some items need the deli, the oven or the wrapping counter first. Hold E to work. Put the exact items on a packing counter, seal the bag and carry it to a checkout before the customer runs out of patience.
Step 4
Keep the shelves full
Stock runs out. Pick a product at the delivery dock, carry the crate over and refill the shelf. Teammates with free hands can catch anything you throw.
Step 5
Earn your stars
A shift lasts three minutes and your score sets the stars. One star unlocks the next shop. Wrong bags and lost customers cost points, so check with each other before you seal a bag.
